QPAC polymers decompose cleanly in air or oxygen via the combustion process. The products of decomposition–water and carbon dioxide–are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. QPACpolymers also decompose cleanly in non-oxygen environments via a pyrolysis process, and the product of decomposition is propylene carbonate.
